Digital Workplace Consultant

We work with organisations to enable new, more efficient ways of working for employees across New Zealand. We do this so our clients can be more effective for their customers.

To do this, we help our clients leverage their existing investment in Microsoft 365 and the Power Platform, as well as offering our own Solar Workplace platform that provides service delivery solutions for HR, Health & Safety, and other functions across the enterprise.

Our team of nearly 20 people has worked with more than 200 clients across three practices from our head office in Christchurch.  Examples of our projects include intranets, document management solutions, forms, process automation workflows and reporting-based solutions. We work across the following practices:

  • Modern Workplace – SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Yammer, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI
  • Solar Workplace – Low Code service delivery for Employee, Customer and Supplier Workflows
  • Development – Building bespoke .NET Applications 
ABOUT THE ROLE - WHY YOU WILL BE HERE

As a Senior Consultant at Brighter Days, you will be working with others on the team to support midsize- to large organisations across New Zealand.

Specific job tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Develop and nurture client relationships
  • Handle inbound inquiries from existing clients
  • Lead the analysis and planning (discovery) for new projects, including running technical and functional workshops with clients
  • Analyze business requirements & design solutions for implementation, evaluating
    • Tool selection
    • Architecture
  • Forms
  • Workflows
  • Design Site Structures
  • Estimate project effort and timeframes
  • Produce documentation, including:
    • Project documentation – proposals, statements of work and status reports,
    • Solution documentation – design documents, handover documents
  • Configure Microsoft 365 & SharePoint Online solutions:
    • SharePoint
    • Microsoft Teams
    • Microsoft Viva
    • Power Platform – Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI
  • Test and peer review other consultants’ work
  • Liaise with 3rd-party consultants
  • Present to clients and at industry events
  • Provide updates to Brighter Days clients about the latest Microsoft 365 features and functionality
  • Be a thought leader in workplace productivity
  • Mentor and help develop consultants in our practice
  • Other tasks as required to support our company’s objectives
