Examples of our projects include bespoke solutions, integration and API work, intranets, document management solutions, forms, process automation workflows and reporting-based solutions. We work across the following practices:

Development – Building bespoke .NET applications

Solar Workplace – Low Code service delivery for Employee, Customer and Supplier Workflows.
Modern Workplace – Leverage their existing investment in Microsoft 365 and the Power Platform using tools like SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Yammer, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI

ABOUT THE ROLE - WHY YOU WILL BE HERE

This is a newly created position. You will be responsible for leading a small Software Engineering Team, overseeing all software development undertaken across the business. This will be on both internal and external client projects.

This role will combine a varied mix of both client facing, technical, and team management responsibilities and an ideal role for either a Senior Software Engineer or Architect that likes the people side of work as well as ‘getting their hands dirty’ when needed.

Brighter Days has a strong commitment to high quality coding standards and practises, and you will be expected to continue this by writing clean, testable, maintainable code.

The anticipated breakdown of the role is so:

Technical Consultancy and Development (50%)
- Paid Consultancy which includes:
  - Functional Consultancy
  - Software Development
  - Project Management
  - Thought Leadership

Product (10%)
- Providing Architectural advice and strategy to the team on internal projects

Team Management (10%)
- Resource Management
- Scheduling
- Provide Reporting and Commentary around practice performance and KPI’s
- Job Management
- Task Management
- Managing and Mentoring colleagues

Other (17%)
- Time to be used at your discretion to include:
